A group of 50 selected needy students who are living in the general area Medawachchiya thanks to the initiativetaken by the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) who were the recipients of school accessories, bags and stationery items on 19 March 2021.
The donation programme held at Irattaperiyakulam National Youth Corps premises as another community oriented project to mark the 23th Anniversary Cerebrations of SFHQ (W) was launched with the blessings of Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP the Commander Security Force (Wanni) and with the coordination of Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division.
The generosity of Siri Gunaruwan Sisu Diriya Foundation Mr. Ajith Rohana enabled the 21 Division to launch the programme through the organizational ability of the 211 Infantry Brigade Commanded by Colonel JKR Jayakody RWP USP.
Colonel RMC Rathnayake RWP RSP USP, the Col Coord of 21 Infantry Division graced the distribution ceremony as the chief Guest on the invitation of the 211 Infantry Brigade and gave away incentives to the deserving students.
