The General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General W R P De Silva USP ndu IG organized a vivid festive eventfor his troops to mark the Sinhala and Hindu New Year on 10 April 2018.
Many traditional and fun-making games such as Bicycle race, Cross Country race, Grease Pole climbing, Pillow-Fights, Tug-of-War, Fancy Dress Parade, Identifying Concealed Guest and a Beauty Pageant dominated the day’s proceedings to the amusement of all.
General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General W R P De Silva USP ndu IG graced this occasion as the chief guest.
At the end of the festival, the chief guest and several Senior Officers gave away gifts to the winners in different competitions.
Senior Officers, Officers and large number of Other Ranks gathered in the Day’s events.
