11th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Troops Complete their Battalion Training Course

11th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery (11 SLA) troops had their Battalion training course conducted at Battalion Training School, Alankulam from 17 January 2024 to 05 March 2024 with 12 Officers and 368 Other Ranks participating.

The curriculum in the course included lectures and practical sessions on map reading, counter-insurgency operations, internal security, fighting in built-up areas, Lives saving, introduction of Signal Equipment, Introduction of AFV, Role & task of Sri Lanka Air Force, field visit to Mechanized Infantry Regiment Training School at Periyakadu and live-firing.

Further, a presentation on 'PUDUMATHÀLAN AWASAN SATANA' was conducted by a team of 11th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at the end of the Battalion Training Course and Commander Security Forces Wanni Major General W P A D W Nanayakkakara RSP VSV USP ndu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The closing remarks of the course were delivered by the General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division Major General K M P S B Kulathunga RSP ndu psc, Commander, 541 Infantry Brigade, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were participated for closing address. During the awarding ceremony, the following Officers and Other Ranks were awarded trophies:
