An All Rank get together was organized by the 11 Division of Security Forces (Central) on 28 December 2019 at the premises of Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya. For this, General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, Major General W G H A S Bandara RWP RSP ndu participated in along with the Brigade Commanders of 111 and 112 Brigades and the Commanding Officers of the Under Command Units. Moreover, the families of the Officers and Other Ranks had also been invited for this function.

Distribution of school accessories was taken place at Inguruwatta School, located in a remote village in Doluwa area, which is under command to 111 Brigade of Security Force Headquarters (Central) on 23 December 2019 at the school premises. Prior to this programe, the parents launched a shramadana campaign and the soldiers from 111 Brigade also provided the labour assistance for this.

This was organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations.

The Sri Pada is a pilgrimage site that has been held sacred by the devotees from the ancient times. The pilgrim season of Sri Pada was commenced on the auspicious time at the dawn of Unduwap Full Moon Poya Day. Intending to improve the spirituality of the pilgrims a golden statue of Lord Buddha was taken to the peak of the Sri Pada Temple by a large number of war heroes under command to Security Forces (Central) on 07 December 2019 under the Direction of the Chief incumbent of Sri Pada. As per the instructions of the Commander Security Forces (Central), the Brigade Commander of 112 Brigade supervised this religious commitment. The Golden statue was made in Thailand and it was brought to the island by air.
