  • ANOTHER TEAM RELEASED AFTER THE QUARANTINE PROCESS

    After 14 days quarantine process, 34 personnel and 12 Buddhist monks who came from Myanmar were released under medical instructions from Nations Building - Kundasale and Cooperation Centre - Pallekele Quarantine Centres on 31 May 2020. Further, the PCR test was also conducted and the quarantine certificates were also issued before they left the premises.

  • 11 DIVISION RECEIVED 1000 FACE COVERS

    A donation of 1000 face covers has been taken place in 11 Division of Security Forces (Central) on 18 May 2020. In order to ensure the safety of military personnel who involve in the quarantine process especially in Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts, these face covers were donated by Mr Niluka Algewatta, the Manager of Eskimo Fashion Knit Wear Lanka LTD to the General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, Major General W G H A S Bandara RWP RSP. Further, these face covers have been manufactured very hygienically and this donation is a great service for the military personnel in the hour of need.

  • 11 DIVISION RECEIVED SAFETY KITS AND FACE COVERS

    Military personnel are actively engaging in the process of controlling the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the safety measures should necessarily be adhered by them. In order to facilitate them, 100 face covers were donated by Mr Supun Madawa Weerasinghe and an IR Thermometer was donated by Mr Jagath Chaminda Rajapaksha who is an Engineer of Road Development Authority to 11 Division of Security Forces (Central). Both of them are former students of the Vidyartha Vidyalaya, Kandy.

  • SINGHE CLUB DONATED FACE COVERS TO 11 DIVISION

    11 Division of Security Forces (Central) along with its under command formations are engaged in the process of controlling the Covid – 19 epidemic in Kandy, Matale, NuwaraEliya and Badulla Districts. Since the troops of these military establishments directly involve in the activities of quarantine process, they should follow up all the precautions.

  • 11 DIVISION RECEIVED 30 SAFETY KITS

    A donation of safety kits has been taken place in 11 Division of Security Forces (Central) on 06 April 2020. In order to ensure the safety of military personnel who involve in the quarantine process, the Managing Director of Designer Fashion Factory Pvt Ltd, Mrs. Niluka Palipana has donated 30 safety kits.

  • MILITARY PERSONNEL DONATED BLOOD

    26th April 2020 13:09:27 Hours

    In order to meet the national requirement of blood during the prevailing pandemic situation in the island, a blood donation campaign was organized by the 12 Division of Security Forces (Central) on 21 April 2020 in conjunction with the General Hospital Hambantota. Consequently, 57 military personnel from 12 Division and 3 Sri Lanka National Guards donated blood at this campaign.

  • MILITARY PERSONNEL DONATED BLOOD

    In accordance with a request made by the Director, National Blood Transfusion Service from the Commander of the Army, a blood donation campaign was organized on 16 April 2020 in conjunction with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and 42 military personnel of 23 Gajaba Regiment have donated blood to meet the national requirement.

  • TROOPS CONTROLLED A SUDDEN FIRE IN SF (CEN ) AOR

    21st April 2020 13:59:44 Hours

    A sudden fire occurred in Keels Super in Nuwara Eliya on 18 April 2020 around 1230 hours was doused by the troops of the 3 (V) Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP. A team consisting of three officers and fifteen soldiers reached the place immediately and doused the fire completely.

  • MILITARY PERSONNEL DONATED BLOOD.

    Due to the prevailing endemic situation in the Island, the blood stocks in the blood banks are getting lower. In order to control the situation, the contribution of the military personnel has been requested by the Director, National Blood Transfusion Service from the Commander of the Army.
