Brigadier DMT Dissanayake RSP USP assumed duties as the 12th Officiating General Officer Commanding of 65 Infantry Division, amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Headquarters 65 Infantry Division in Thunukkai on 09 September 2020. After taking over duties, the GOC attended for All Ranks tea with all officers who were present.

The monthly meeting for the month of February of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch was held at the Artillery Seva Vanitha Office, Panagoda. Welafare events pertaining to the month of March and April were discussed at the meeting. On successful completion of the meeting, The President Mrs Kumudini Wanigasooriya, had organised to give away a donation of 1200 packets of Cassilan 90 protien supplements, to the Sports team of Sri Lanka Artillery. This donation was sponsored by Stasson Group.

The passing out parade of the Post Depot Course FD - 213 was held on 15 February 2020 at the School of Artillery - Minneriya Gun Drill Ground. 95 new gunners joined the "Gunners Tribe" after successful completion of Post Depot Course conducted at the school.
