Sewa Wanitha

On December 14, 2024, the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch organized a heartfelt event at the Commando Regiment Headquarters in Ganemulla. Under the leadership of Mrs. Samindi Wicramarathne, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, the event featured the distribution of essential gift packs for pregnant mothers among the wives of Other Ranks and civilian staff. Thirteen expectant mothers were presented with valuable items for themselves and their babies, ensuring their well-being during this special time

On October 5, 2024, the Commando Regiment Seva vanitha Branch hosted a vibrant series of events for the children of Commando Regiment families at the Commando Regiment Swimming Pool Complex, in celebration of World Children’s Day. The event featured Mrs. Nimali Ranathunga, President of the Commando Seva vanitha Branch, alongside dedicated members of the branch.

Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch visited the Abimansala - II at Kamburupitiya on 10 February 2019. The Colonel of the Regiment Major General RA Nugera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu and President of Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Rosetta Nugera and other members of the seva vanitha branch were participated for this visit.

Alms Giving Ceremony and Dharma Desana Pinkama, organized by the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch was held at Regimental Centre Commando Regiment on 16 October 2018 under the guidance of Mrs. Rosetta Nugera, President of Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch.

This Dharma Desana Pinkama was conducted by Ven Morawaththa Subodha Thero.

The President and other members of Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and all ranks of Commando Regiment took part in the event.
