The Dry Ration Pack Distribution Program, organized by the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, was successfully held on 23 March 2025 at Commando Regiment Training School (CRTS) Uva Kudaoya. This initiative was envisioned by the Commander of the 53 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment, Commando Regiment, Major General KHMS Wickramaratne RSP, together with the Honourable Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Samindie Wickramaratne. The program was further supported by the Commander of the 22 Infantry Division, Major General HDLS Perera RWP RSP, along with the Mrs Randima Perera.
Under the supervision and commitment of the Commandant of the CRTS, Colonel US Pilapiiya RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer Lt Col K R J M B Kandewaththa RWP USP and other staff of the CRTS. The program was successfully benefited 42 civil staff members serving at the CRTS – Uva Kuda Oya.
This initiative, conducted as part of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year celebrations, is one of many social welfare programs led by the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch. It reflects their unwavering dedication to the health and welfare of the Commando family, reinforcing the spirit of unity and support within the regiment.
