In parallel to the 10th Anniversary Unit Day Celebrations a Blood donation campaign was organized by the troops of 9 (V) ESR on 01 March 2019 at its Headquarters in Anuradhapura with the participation of 146 Officers and Other Ranks. The Staff members at Blood Bank of Teaching Hospital ,Anuradhapura extended their cooperation for this event.

Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC the Commander of the Army declared open the new Officers’ Mess Building of the 11 Division Headquarters at Pallekele , Kandy on 25 February 2019.
The Officers Mess Building was constructed by the troops of 17th Engineer Servicers Regiment headed by Captain D M C U L Dissanayake CES the Garrison Engineer Kandy under the command of Lt Col Y K S Rangika psc CES the Commanding Officer 17 ESR.

In parallel to the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the 9th Engineer Services Regiment that falls on 15 March 2019 , the troops of the 9th Engineer Services Regiment (Vol) served meals to devotees and pilgrims visiting the “Dolos Mahe Dansala” at Ruvanveliseya Stupa in Anuradhapura.

The new Officers' Mess Building and the Class Room building constructed by the 6th Engineer Services Regiment at Ranaviru Resource Centre in Hendala was declared open by the Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC the Comd of the Army at auspicious time on 18 January 21 2019. Under the Stage II of the Ranaviru Resource Centre Construction Project , the construction of Officers' Mess, WOs' & Sgts' Mess , Class Room Building, Other Ranks' Mess , Canteen , Toilet Complex and the Drainage System was commenced by the 6th Engineer Services Regiment on 16 June 2014 and 90% of the constructions has been completed by now.

The Corps of Engineer Services WOs' & Sgts' Mess “Guest Night” organized in parallel to 69th Anniversary Corps Day Celebrations was held at the CES Regimental Centre, Panagoda on 08 January 2019 with the participation of a large number of serving and retired members of the WOs’ & Sgts’ Mess. . Maj Gen H J S Gunawardena RSP USP ndc psc, the Master General Ordnance and Colonel Commandant CES graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Brig R Ganegoda psc the Director of Engineer Services, Col KMS Kumara psc the Centre Commandant CES, Col S N Kithulgoda the Deputy Centre Commandant CES, Other Senior Officers & Officers also participated in this event. The Corps' Sergeant Major WO I MGTK Wilson welcomed the Chief Guest and Other invitees.

In connection with the 69th Anniversary celebrations, the Corps of Engineer Services conducted Multi Religious observances to invoke blessing on all the members of the Corps. The Special Christian Service organized by the 7th Engineer Services Regiment (Vol) was held at Christ the King Church, Pannipitiya on 02 January 2019. The Hindu Religious Observance organized by the 6th Engineer Services (Vol) was conducted at Shiva Subramanian Swami Kovil on the same day. The Islamic Religious Observance organized by the 14th Engineer Services Regiment (Vol) was held at Jummah Masjid Hanwella on 03 January 2019.
