ASSUMPTION OF DUTIES BY THE BRIGADE COMMANDER OF 543 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Colonel A H R Hasantha RSP psc assumed duties as the 15th Brigade Commander of the 543 Infantry Brigade on 21 December 2025 at the Brigade Headquarters Pesalai, Mnnar. The newly appointed Brigade Commander formally took command during a ceremonial programme conducted in accordance with military traditions. Colonel A H R Hasantha RSP psc then signed the official documentation, formally signifying the assumption of his duties as Brigade Commander.

The ceremony continued with a official briefing, troops address and an all ranks tea, during which the Brigade Commander shared his vision, priorities and expectations with the troops under his command, reinforcing his commitment to leadership, operational excellence and the welfare of all personnel.
