NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER 563 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Colonel P A Nandathilaka RSP USP assumed duties as the 24th Commander of the 563 Infantry Brigade in Navatkulam, Vavuniya on 12th December 2024, amidst religious blessings and military formalities.

The incoming Commander was warmly welcomed by Senior Officers followed by a Guard Turnout. Subsequently at his office, a brief religious ceremony was conducted to invoke blessings for his new appointment and Colonel P A Nandathilaka RSP USP signed an official document to mark his assumption of duties.

The event concluded with his formal address to the Officers and Other Ranks. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civil servants of brigade headquarters participated in the event and extended their congratulatory remarks on his new appointment.
