Successful Completion of Mechanical Boat, Lock, and Raft Operation Workshop

The concept of General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division and the coordination of Commander 211 Infantry Brigade a workshop of Mechanical Boat, Lock, and Raft Operation was successfully completed.

The workshop was organized with the objective of enhancing preparedness and effective response to natural disasters such as sudden floods and water inundations within the area of responsibility.

The workshop commenced on 15 August 2025 and terminated on 22 August 2025 at Sri Lankan Army School of Military Engineering – Tunkama, Abhilipitiya by the participation of an officer and 15 Other Rankers under command battalions of 21 Infantry Division.

The aim of this workshop was to strengthen the Division’s capability to deploy troops promptly and efficiently during emergency disaster situations.
