56 Infantry Division organized a Volleyball tournament for their under command Brigades and Battalions on 02 July 2024 with fully coordination of 563 Infantry Brigade at 56 Infantry Division Volleyball court.
16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment volleyball team and 7 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment volleyball team were selected to the final tussle and 7 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment after a close encounter won the 56 Infantry Division Inter Battalion Volleyball Championship.
Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division witnessed the final match gracing the occasion and the awarding ceremony as the chief guest. Deputy General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders of 562, 563 Infantry Brigades, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 56 Infantry Division were participated the event.
