FACILITATES UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL IN TALAIMANNAR WITH INSTALLATION OF FANS

In the first phase of the project, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant was installed to provide students and teachers with access to clean and safe drinking water. The initiative was carried out under the direct guidance of Major General A M C Abeykoon RWP RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, and executed by Brigadier N R L Gunasena ctf-ndu psc, Commander 543 Infantry Brigade.

Building on the success of the initial phase, the second stage of the project was recently launched, focusing on enhancing the school’s learning environment through the installation of ceiling fans. This phase aims to improve the comfort and well-being of students at Kattakadukarankudierippu School in the Mannar District.

Both initiatives were made possible through the generous support of Dr. Jinanjala Shanika Wijayagunasekara, whose continuous commitment and contributions toward community development have been instrumental in bringing these welfare projects to fruition.
