Distribution of Baby Equipment Kits for Expectant Mothers

A donation program to support expectant mothers was successfully conducted on 14 September 2025 at the 211 Infantry Brigade Headquarters, under the 21 Infantry Division of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni).

During the event, 20 sets of baby equipment were distributed among 20 pregnant mothers from Nabadawewa Grama Niladhari Division No. 152, Horowpothana Divisional Secretariat Division. The program was organized under the supervision and guidance of Brigadier T.D.P. Siriwardena psc, Brigade Commander, 211 Infantry Brigade.

The financial contribution for this initiative was generously provided by Mrs. Owani Priyanka Samaraweera, Coordinating Officer of the Jiwana Upaya Athwela Foundation, Ministry of Rural Development and Empowerment. The Commanding Officer of the 5 (Vol) Gajaba Regiment, along with officers and other ranks, also attended the occasion.
