A DINERS CLUB HELD AT THE SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, the second Diners Club Program was successfully held on 20 November 2025 at the 3D Lecture Hall of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) with the participation of Young Officers’ following the Unit Administration and Account Course and the staff officers of the SFHQ(Wanni).

The Diners Club was conducted under the theme “The Enduring Value of Military Education”. The Commander 213 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier B N S B Rangama RSP USP psc conducted the discussion as the guest speaker. During his speech, Brigadier Rangama shared his extensive knowledge and experiences on the importance of inculcating professionalism within the military. His thought-provoking presentation emphasized the fundamental values, discipline, and commitment to continuous learning that define a true military professional in the Sri Lanka Army.

The primary objective of this Diners Club Program was to enhance the professional knowledge, leadership mindset, and educational awareness of junior and middle-grade officers. By creating a platform for discussion and intellectual exchange, the program aimed to reinforce the importance of continuous military education, strengthen administrative and command responsibilities, and prepare officers to meet the evolving challenges of modern military service.

Further, Brigadier K T R B Kodippili psc, the Brigadier General Staff (BGS) of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), along with several Senior Officers, Officers, and course participants of the Young Officers’ Unit Administration and Account Course, attended the event.
