A foundation stone-laying ceremony for a Wall around the “Sapling of Sri Maha Bodhi” at the Sudharmaramaya Maha Viharaya, Atambagaskada commenced on 07 April 2025 with the exhortation of chief monk of Atambagaskada temple, Sri kalyanithissa Thero. Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc the Commander Security Force Headquarters – Wanni graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Moreover, this project was initiated and sponsored by Major General M P N A Muthumala USP psc then General officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and current General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division. Further, DIG Wanni Range Mr. Samantha Wijesekara, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and villagers were participated for this historical occasion.
