CINAMON PLANTING AND DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY AT V/ POOVARASANKULAM MV

According to the request and invitation of the Principal of V/Poowarasankulam Maha Vidyalaya, Mr. A Muraleedaran, and the concept of a green environment maintained in the college, cinnamon cultivation program were held in the school premises to educate and set an example to the children and parents. Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, close supervision of Commander 562 Infantry Brigade, coordination and conducting of the programe was done by Second In Commander of 12 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment with the participation of the children, teachers, parents and soldiers on 02 July 2024.

The cultural event presented by teachers and students, reflecting various talents add glamour to the program. General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc participated as the chief guest of the ceremony of distribution and planting of Cinamon saplings, principal of the college Mr. A Muraleedaran, teachers and parents were attended. Also, Brigade Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brigadier TMSJ Thennakoon RSP, GSO 1 (Coordination) of 56 Infantry Division, Second in Commander 12 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Officers/Other Ranks were participated.
