The Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch donated gift parcels and host special lunch treat for 33 elders at Danovita Sandella elders home to remark the Christmas Day on 22nd December with the participation of Mrs Omila Jayawardena, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Seva Vanitha Branch and members.
Seva Vanitha branch of SLSR celebrated the World Children’s Day on the 15th of October with kids of all SLSR Officers, Other ranks and Civil working staff at the Gymnasium of the Regimental Centre SLSR Ambepussa.
The ‘Ranaviru Abhinandana Pooja 2022’ stage 3, the programme of awarding scholarships was exclusively initiated by the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) presented scholarships to 60 sons and daughters of the Army War Heroes' families on 03 September 2022 at the Main Auditorium, the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ambepussa, in view of encouraging and motivating the students for higher studies.
Sinha Seva Vanitha Members who participated in the Committee meeting on 25 June 2022 joined in a worthy programme of donating Dry Rations, Sanitary Items and Stationeries to the ‘Ape Lamai’ Organization - Our Kids, a Special education school located at Ambepussa.
A Committee meeting of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch was held at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Ambepussa on 25th June 2022. The new president Mrs. Omila Jayawardena presided over the first monthly meeting right after assuming duties at the office.
Mrs Omila Jayawardena, the new President of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR SVB) assumed office at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment at Ambepussa on 23 May 2022 morning during a brief ceremony.
The New President on her arrival at the premises was warmly welcomed by Mrs Jeewani Wimalasena, Secretary SLSR SVB. Several other senior members of the SLSR SVB who were present, graced the charm and formal occasion.
A ceremony organized by the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch to mark international women’s day was held on 12 March 2022 at the Regimental Centre Ambepussa under the auspices of Mrs Darshani Liyange, the President of the Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch.
The troops of ‘Sinha Diriya Piyasa’ Project Centre under Headquarter Battalion in the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch jointly organized a programme to donate wheelchairs with the assistance of Leo Clubs in Leo Multiple District 306 at the Colombo University. Under the project of ‘Sahurda Yarthra 3.0’ for the 3rd consecutive time, the Leo Club has donated 9 wheelchairs to the differently-abled Sinha War Heroes at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) was held on 30 January 2022 under the patronage of the Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and Commander Security Force (West), Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, at the main auditorium, Regimental Centre SLSR, Ambepussa, while adhering all the health precautions and guidelines stipulated to prevent COVID-19 outbreak.
