Amidst formalities, warm wishes, and exchange of hearty pleasantries, the Regimental Headquarters at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) in Ambepussa greeted the first working day in the New Year 2023 with the customary flag-raising, reading of the state allegiance oath, recital of the national anthem, the Army song, and the Regimental song and interactions as major features of the day’s simple arrangement on Monday (2) morning.

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR SVB) distributed 70 plus dry ration packs among the civil Servants at the Regimental centre in the Ambepussa on 30 December 2022 coinciding with Christmas Celebration. Each dry ration pack Valued Rs 6,000 and included rice, dry fish, dhal, onion, milk powder, sugar, chilly etc.

The newly-built Other Ranks’ Accommodation building for the headquarter battalion SLSR in Ambepussa, was vested in the Other Ranks during a simple ceremony on Friday (23), headed by Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala, Centre Commandant RHQ SLSR coinciding with the 23rd Anniversary of the Headquarter battalion (RFT) SLSR.
