To coincide with the 75th National Independence Day with the guidelines and instructions of the Army Headquarters, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Regimental Centre in Ambepussa conducted a programme on Saturday (4) February 2023, with the participation of Staff Officers and Other Ranks
The day’s event started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Colonel Wajira Amarasiri, Deputy Centre Commandant SLSR.
Afterwards, a two-minute silence was observed to remind all the patriots and fallen war heroes who scarified their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Mother Nation.
This Programme was organized under the direction of Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Master General Ordinance and Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and the Supervision of Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala, Centre Commandant RHQ SLSR.
