Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) on arrival at HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North) was received by Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North). The visiting Commander Security Force (Jaffna) planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the Forward Maintenance Area (North). Subsequently, Commander Security Force (Jaffna) posed for a group photograph with all Commanding Officers of Logistics Units and the Staff of the HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North). Later, he addressed the troops and joined all ranks tea.
Commander Security Force - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu, made his first official visit to 51 Infantry Division Headquarters after assuming duties as the Commander Security Force - Jaffna on Tuesday 22 July 2021.
The Security Force Commander was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division and was accorded a guard turnout at the main entrance. The visiting Security Force Commander addressed the troops at the gymnasium. The troop address was followed by planting a Mango sapling (Mangifera Indica), group photograph, briefing of the General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division and all ranks tea.

A vaccination programme for the 600 army troops including officers, other ranks and civil servants was held at Headquarters - 51 Infantry Division on 12 July 2021. The troops of 511, 512, 513 and 515 Infantry brigades and under command battalions of the 51 division area were vaccinated during the programme which organized in excellent manner under the direction of Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander - 51 Infantry Division. Brigade commanders and commanding offices of the 51 Division area were also participated during the event.
Giving a boost to the Government's Organic Fertilizer Production Process as per directions of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva, troops under the Security Force HQ-Jaffna on the directions of Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander Security Forces Jaffna set up Organic Fertilizer Processing Site at farm premises of SF (J) on 4 July 2021.
