  • Security Forces Jaffna Conducted a Symposium to Discuss Contemporary Local and International Security

    Security Forces (Jaffna) organized a symposium for Grade 1 Army Officers aimed to acquire the knowledge on contemporary local and international security issues with the interaction of renowned Professor David Brewster, Colonel Amanda Johnston, the Defence Attache to Australian High Commission and Captain Simon Batterman (Australian Navy) on Monday, 11 March.

  • Jaffna Commander Chaired Coordinating Conference for Air Force Tattoo - 2024

    Sri Lankan Air Force is making arrangements to hold ‘Air Force Tattoo’ from 06th March to 10th March at Muttraweli Ground, Jaffna to mark the 73rdAir Force Anniversary. This event will feature an extensive exhibition encompassing many activities related to military aviation, engineering field, disaster management, airborne, adventures and public entertainment.

  • Jaffna Commander Visits Mulankavil Training School

    To coincide with the closing ceremony of the Battalion Training of 10th (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment at Battalion Training School in Mulankavil, Major General ChandanaWickramasinghe,the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), visited the school compound on Monday, 04th March.

    The Jaffna Commander was warmly welcomed to the school premises by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Division and the Chief Instructor of the School. Thereafter, the Jaffna Commander and other participants attended a comprehensive briefing on the battalion training and training school, which was conducted by the Chief Instructor followed by an awarding ceremony.

  • Nagadeepa Monks Extend Blessings on Jaffna Commander

    After assuming duties, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe paid his homage to the Chief Monk of the Nagadeepa Purana Raja Maha Vihara and trustee authorities of Sri Nagapooshani Amman Kovil, Nainativu Islands in order to receive blessings of his most hallowed places of worship on 01 March 2024.

  • A Legal Aid Workshop Conducted at Security Forces (Jaffna)
