In conjuction with the 78th National Independence Day celebration, troops of the 18th battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment donated a pair of crutches to a disabled civilian resident of Islamabadpura, Kalmunai and distributed school books to 20 school children on 4th February of 2026 from 1000 hrs to 1100 hrs at the Arakkattalai office, Tara Ullangal, Kalmunai. 01 x 03 troops of the unit and about 150 civilians participated for this program.
