In conjunction with the NavamPura Pasalosvaka Poya Day, the Security Forces Headquarters (East) organized an Almsgiving Programme on 02 February 2026 for 24 Buddhist monks residing at the Kalkuda Siri Seelalankara Pirivena.
The event was graced by the presence of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, Major General G.P.P. Kulathilaka NDC; together with Senior Officers, Other Ranks, and Civil Staff of the Headquarters.
The programme was conducted in a solemn and spiritually enriching atmosphere, fostering religious devotion and reinforcing unity among all participants.
