With the request of the lrrigation Engineer - Sammanthurai, 18 VIR provided assistance with 01 x 10 troops for the reconstruction work of the Galoya irrigation canal's embankments (both sides) near to Sammanturai Kallarachalanicut, damaged due to adverse weather conditions on 13 December 2025.
