TROOPS OF 12TH GEMUNU WATCH BATTALION CONDUCT DRINKING WATER WELL CLEANING PROGRAMME IN SALPITIGAMA BELONGING TO THE DEHIATHTHAKANDIYA DS DIVISION,

A volunteer team from the Eco Grip Adventure Institution, together with 10 troops of 12 GW, took part in cleaning wells in the flood-affected areas of Salpitigama belonging to the Dehiaththakandiya DS Division, on 06 December 2025.

The team carried out the cleaning using necessary equipment, including generators, pressure guns, submersible pumps, water machines, and other disaster-management equipment.
