TROOPS OF 11 SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT CONDUCT DRINKING WATER WELL CLEANING PROGRAMME IN PANDARIYAVELI AREA

With the direction of Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP pscand supervision of the Commanding Officer of 11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Maj BRMGWAR Balagalla SLSR the well-cleaning programme was conducted on 07 December 2025 from 0700 hrs to 1700hrs with the participation of 01 x 10 troops. During the programme troops cleaned 03 x public wells located at the Pandariyaveli area (GR 050660, 042665, 043669) had been extensively used by the local community during the recent adverse weather conditions and the cleaning effort was carried out to ensure the continued availability of safe drinking water for affected residents.
