COMMENCEMENT OF DRY RATION TRANSPORT PROGRAMME FOR FLOOD-AFFECTED AREAS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF 242 INFANTRY BRIGADE

With the guidance of General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division Maj Gen KW Jayaweera USP psc and the support of the Commander 242 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KGAT Kalakorale RSPcommenced the transport of dry ration packets to 100 flood-affected families in Damana area. The programme began on 04 December 2025 at 0800 hrs. The Commander of the 242 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KGAT Kalakorale RSPalong with 02 × 10 troops participated in the event.
