A team of 01 x 09 troops from the 2 (V) Gajaba Regiment was deployed on 28.11.2025 to rescue a group of farmers who were trapped in a paddy field due to heavy rains in Nedunkenikulam village, which falls under the 223 Infantry Brigade Headquarters area of the 22 Division, commanded by SFHQ (E).
All the rescued individuals have been safely relocated to designated safety areas. As no additional casualties have been reported, the troops remain prepared to provide further assistance as required, based on necessary instructions.
