TROOPS DEPLOYMENT FOR DUUWE ARU LEFT BANK PROTECTION IN ULLA AREA

Due to adverse weather conditions, a team of 1×25 troops from the 14th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was deployed to the left bank of the Duuwe Aru in the Pottuvil–Ulla area, which falls under the 24 Infantry Division of the SFHQ (E). The team carried out work to minimize damage to the riverbank by constructing a sand-filled barrier to prevent further erosion
