WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATED WITH COLOURFUL EVENT BY 243 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Under the leadership of Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc Commander 243 Infantry Brigade, 11(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organized a vibrant and meaningful World Children’s Day celebration at Sinhala Mahavidyalaya in Batticaloa.

The event was filled with colorful and engaging activities, bringing joy and excitement to the children. As part of the program, the Brigade Commander and accompanying officers distributed school bags and essential stationery packs, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to community welfare and education.

Following the celebrations, the Brigade Commander 243 Infantry Brigade along with teachers and students, visited the Happy Kids Recreational Centre at Batticaloa, further adding to the children’s delight.

Organized in parallel with the global observance of World Children’s Day, the event was a resounding success. Brigadier KMUP kalupahana USP psc graced the occasion as Chief Guest, with Commanding Officer of 11(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, along with other senior officers, troops, and school staff in attendance.
