Commander Security Forces (East), Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, visited the Dimbulagala Forest Monastery on 09 July 2025. During the visit, the senior officer met with the Chief Incumbent of the Dimbulagala Forest Monastery, Most Venerable Dimbulagala Rahulalankara Nayaka Thera, and received his blessings.
Following this, Major General Pallekumbura toured the temple premises and observed the ongoing construction work being carried out by Army troops.

The visit was also attended by the Brigade Commander of the 231 Infantry Brigade, senior staff officers from the Security Forces Headquarters (East), and key civil stakeholders responsible for the monastery's affairs.
