HOLDING A RICE DONATION CEREMONY ON THE OCCASION OF POSON POYA DAY IN 2025

In conjunction with the Poson festival, 9th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment organized a “Poson Dansala” held in front of the Battalion on 10th June 2025 with the participation ofthe Commander - 222 Infantry Brigade Colonel DMGKH De Silva PSC and under the guidance of Commanding Officer of the 9th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel CDP Jayathilaka RWP RSP. All officers and other ranks of the battalion attended the event with the contribution of area business persons and more than 4000 devotees, including the residents of the area and the other temples, participated in “poson dansala”
