OPENING OF THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED OTHER RANKS’ ACCOMMODATION

In line with a concept introduced by the Commander 243 Infantry Brigade, the newly constructed ‘FORT HAVEN’ accommodation complex aimed at uplifting the welfare and living standards of soldiers was ceremonially declared open on 10 May 2025 by Brigadier KMUP Kaluapahana USP psc Commander 243 Infantry Brigade.

The occasion was graced by Major BRMGWAR Balagalla SLSR, Commanding Officer of the 11(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Major HMRPK Rajaguru Second in Command of the 16 Sri Lanka National Guard along with all officers and other ranks of the 243 Infantry Brigade. This initiative to enhance the well-being and morale of all personnel.
