COMMUNITY WELFARE PROGRAM CONDUCTED BY THE 7TH LIGHT REGIMENT, SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division, the troops of the 7th Light Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery, under located the 231 Infantry Brigade, conducted a school aid distribution program as part of civil-military coordination activities.

The event, held on 10 May 2025 at Thibirigaswewa Primary School, benefited 63 students and was made possible through the generous financial sponsorship of Brigadier WSV Fernando USP, ndc, IG, Mrs. Sujani Fernando, and their relatives.

The General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by other senior officers, officers, and other ranks.
