The Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the Diploma in Sinhala Language, organized by the Civil Citizen Council of Batticaloa, took place on 31 August 2024 at Nithis Hall, Sandiweli. Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of Security Forces (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest and awarded certificates to 350 students during the ceremony.
In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of language skills in fostering reconciliation among communities. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, Mr. H.M. Anver, the main course instructor, parents, and students also participated in the event.
