23 Infantry Division Conducts a Lecture Series

Under the guidance of Major General W.P. Kariyawasam, General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division, a lecture series was conducted on 28 August 2024 at the 23 Infantry Division.

The programme aimed to enhance troops' knowledge about the Directorate of Research Concept and Doctrine and raise awareness regarding illegal drugs, their effects, and prevention measures, including relevant laws.

The lectures were delivered by the Directorate's staff and Mr. N.G. Danushka Sampath Wijesinghe, a Lecturer from the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board, Ministry of Public Security. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
