The 27th Anniversary of the 22 Infantry Division Headquarters was celebrated on 23 July 2024 with a series of events.
The celebrations commenced on 21 July 2024 with a lunch and prize distribution ceremony organized for the "Rewatha" Children's Home.
Varu Pirith ceremony was held on 22 July 2024 followed by an arms-giving ceremony the next day, which blessed all ranks.
On the anniversary day, ( 23 July 2024), the Commander of the 22 Infantry Division was honoured with a colorful parade and Guard Turnout. Thenafter, all appeared in a group photograph before participated in All Ranks lunch. The musical event organized at the evening marked the official conclusion of the anniversary celebrations at the 22 Infantry Division.
