ORGANIZED A MEAL FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS AND PUBLIC

Under the guidance of Commander Security Force (East) Major General SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the instruction of General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General W P Kariyawasam, the concept of Commander 232 Infantry Brigade Brig RPS Prasad RWP RSP USP and under the supervision of Commanding Officer of 12 SLNG Major HMVP Herath SLNG 12 SLNG Bn troops were organized a lunch along with Poson full moon poya day at Muruthana Sri Murugan college premises from 1130 hrs to 1330 hrs on 18.06.2024 with the participation of nearly 450 local residents including students, teachers and the parents of Pondukachchena Ghanapati College and Muruthana Sri Murugan College.

This community support event was organized with the aim of developing harmony and reconciliation between security forces and the public. General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General W P Kariyawasam, Commander 232 Infantry Brigade Brig RPS Prasad RWP RSP USP, Additional Divisional Sectary of Koralepaththu South, Commanding Officer of 12 SLNG Major HMVP Herath SLNG, Acting OIC of Police Station Valachchenai and Two Principals were take part at this event
