Under the guidance of Commander Security Force - East, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and all troops of the 2(V) GR completed the constructions of new house forMs. Yashodara Lakmali Perera, and his family of resident of No. resident of No. 81/1, Gamini Dissanayake Mawatha, Mahamayapura, Trincomalee. Mr. Rohan Gunasekara financially contributed for this house with co-ordination of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry DivisionMaj General Anil Peris RSP USP psc and house has constructed by troops of 2 (v) GR within period of four month.
The house opening ceremony took place on time at the auspicious moment of 07 July 2024 at 1015 hours and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu grace the occasion as a Chief Guest. Commander Security Force - East, Major General Shivantha Kulatunga RWP RSP VSV USP psc, and Commander 22 Infantry Division Maj General Anil Peris RSP USP pscalso participated for this occasion.
