HANDING OVER CEREMONY OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILY

In conjunction with the 75th Army Day, the concept of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lt Gen HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Under the direction of Commander Security forces (East) Maj Gen SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, According to instruction of General Officer Commanding 23 Inf Div Maj Gen WP Kariyawasam, Under the close supervision of Commander 232 Inf Bde Brig RPS Prasad RWP RSP USP and the leadership of Commanding Officer 4th the Gemunu Watch Major SPIH Senanayake psc Lsc, the troops of 4 GW was constructed worth of nearly 2 million house for low-income family at Kochithottam - Periyapillumale.

With the financial assistance of Elayathambi Kumara Nishanthan, a resident of the United Kingdom of Sri Lankan origin, the construction work of this house was completed within a short period of time and handover to the owner Mr. Alagan Siripalan on 05.06.2024 at 0950AM by General Officer Commnding 23 Inf Div Maj Gen WP Kariyawasam.
