A special dengue control programme was held island-wide from 27 May 2024 to 01 June 2024. Simultaneously, a special dengue clearing programme conducted by 11 (V) SLSR troops under the 243 Inf Bde cleaning the Kaluvanchikudi area was implemented from 30 May 2024 to 01 June 2024 by the army tps and local health medical officers.
