CORNERSTONE LAID TO CONSTRUCT A NEW HOUSE FOR A NEEDY FAMILY IN KANTHALE

The foundation laying ceremony to construct a new house for a needy family living in Thalgaswewa, Kanthale was held on 25 April 2024 amidst religious rituals.

This meritorious project will be undertaken by the 5 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General PAM Peiri RSP USP psc and with Mr. Santhush Weeraman's financial contributions.

The General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and the donor of the project Mr. Santhush Weeraman, Mr. Bathiya Jayakodi, Commander 222 Infantry Brigade Brigader H K S Thillakaratne, Commanding Officer 5 (V) Sri Lanka Artillery Lieutenant Colonel W W M P B Wekadapola USP psc IG SLA, Officers and Other Ranks of 5 (V) SLA and the beneficiary KJM Wasantha were participated for the ceremony.
