SCHOOL EQUIPMENT DONATION PROGRAM AT PARANAMEDAWACHCHIYA VIDYALAYA

Under the guidance of Commander 22 Infantry Division Major General PAM Peiris RSP USP psc and supervision of the Overlooking Brigade Commander 221 Infantry Brigade Colonel KASJ Kodithuwakku USP, the Commanding Officer of the 20th battalion, the Gajaba Regiment, organized a school equipment donation program at Paranamedawachchiya Vidyalaya on 06 February 2024. A program was conducted to provide school books, sports equipment, school uniforms, musical instruments, and first aid kits worth about Rs.900,000.00 for 99 students of the school.

Donations have been given by Mrs P Korathota and donors who live in Colombo. Civil Affairs Officer 221 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer 20 GR, 05X25 Soldiers of 20 GR and 20 members of the donor team, teachers, students and parents of the students also participated.
