24 INFANTRY DIVISION JOIN HANDS WITH OLD ANANDIYANS 95 GROUP FOR NUWARAGALATHENNA SCHOOL PROJECT

With the coordination of 24 Infantry Division and the monetary contribution of old Anandiyans 95 group, 161 students in needy families of Aranthalawa Nuwaragalathenna School, Ampara received school books, stationery, school bags, shoes and school uniforms on 31 July 2023. Each gift pack was worth nearly Rs.15000.00 was donated during the programme and this generous donation was an encouragement that they gave to the students. Same time, donation of variety of books for the school library, special gift packs for the school teachers were also included in the programme.

General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, Colonel Admin and Quartering 24 Infantry Division Colonel ON Manage RSP, Commanding Officer 16 Sri Lanka National Guards Major KRM Alawaththa and the members of old Anandiyans 95 group headed by Mr. Ishan Perera were participated in the event.
