WORKSHOP FOR COMMANDING OFFICERS AND 2 IN COMMANDERS IN EASTERN AOR

On the instruction of the Eastern Commander Major General Darshana Wijesekera, Staff Officers of Security Force Headquarters (East) organized a 02 days workshop for Commanding Officers, Second in Commanders and Staff Officers working on the Security Force East AOR.

The programme was held on 27 and 28 of Jul 2023 at the Security Force Headquarters (East). The workshop included the Diners Club oration on Military support to Sri Lanka Police and Law Enforcement. The guest lecture of the Dinners' Club was delivered by the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr.Ajith Rohana, Eastern Commander , GOC - 24 Inf Div and Senior Military and Police Officers in Eastern Theater also attended for the dinners' club. Further, the workshop focused on Military Support to Civil Administration (Responsibilities of Commanding Officers), Administration and Logistic in Sri Lanka Army, Commanding Officers’ responsibilities and Man Management, Social disputes/ Drug abuse and General counseling for soldiers and Welfare measures available in Sri Lanka Army for the soldiers.

The Training programme was supervised by the Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, General Officers Commanding, 24 Infantry Division. Nearly 48 Commanding Officers, Second in Commanders and Staff Officers were participated to this two days workshop.
