Under the guidance of Commander Security Forces (East), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, and instruction of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General Saliya Amunugama, the staff officers of the division organized a lecture regarding the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases in parallel to Wednesday training programme at 22 Infantry Division Headquarters on 08 February 2023.
This lecture intended to educate troops on sexually transmitted deceases and prevention methods. Doctor R.A. Devaraj, Medical Officer in charge of the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic of General Hospital Trincomalee participated as the guest lecturer, and the Public Health Inspector of the area Mr.P Jagan. All Officers and other rankers of the 22 Infantry Division participated in this valuable lecture session.
