With the blessing and guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachch, and instruction of the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Major General Shewanth Kulathunga, and close supervision of Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara, the 11th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment has reposed the foundation stone to renovate maternity clinic center in Keviliyamadu area (Eravurpatthu - Chenkaladi Divisional Secretary area) on Tuesday (17 Jan). Approximately 850 civilians are living in the area and maternity women and toddlers in the area will be obtained benefits from this maternity clinic center.
Brigade Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara grace the occasion as a chief guest and Civil Affairs Officer 231 Infantry Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Dammika Weerasinghe and Commanding Officer of 11th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Major Nimal Padmasiri with officers and other ranks of the battalion participate for the programme. The large gathering shows the civil persons in the Keviliyamadu area to the repose foundation stone ceremony.
