NEWLY CONSTRUCTED RO PLANT WAS INAUGURATED IN THE 17TH SRI LANKA NATIONAL GUARD HEADQUARTERS

On parallel with the 27th Anniversary of the 17th Sri Lanka National Guard, as a solution to the drinking water problem of all Ranks of the Battalion and the civilians who are living in the Kumburupiddi area, therefore newly constructed worth sum of Rs 1,000,000/= (One Million Rupees) RO Plant (Water purifier plant) was inaugurated in the 17th Sri Lanka National Guard headquarters on 18th December 2022.

As per the request by Major Lional Hemakumara, Commanding Officer of 17SLNG with the fullest support Mr Chathura Kularathna owner of “Bodyline” Pvt (Ltd) Company at Horana, for this program Numbers of 500 Tamil families were benefited living in the area.

Furthermore, Second in Command Officer17th Sri Lanka National Guard, with Officers, Other Ranks and Civil persons in area, representatives of the donor agency took part in the ceremony to make the event success.
